ok, well one of my good friends that i met in eighth grade was a conservitive jew and a straight "A" student. now in high school she is totally different, she is now doing grugs and drinks constantly. she is hanging out with people that you would never think that she would hang out with. its sad to think that i was her first best friend at her new school, and now she ignores me for these people that are really bad influences to her and she is no longer a straight "A" student, now shes more like a straight "F" student. im scared that she is going to die for overdose or alcohol poisoning. well my question is should i just let her be like that, or should i talk to her and let her know how i fell. or if you have advice PLEASE HELP ME WITH MY FRIEND PROBLEMS?!! Before going into risky surgery or being prescribed a medication that you will be taking for the rest of your life, look around and consider your other options. There are many other medicine fields and options out there other than western medicine and much safer ways to heal your body and ailments. Look things up on the internet, ask your healthcare provider and ask your friends and family. Something as simple as a massage every now and then could prevent you from going on anti-stress medications. Remember: your doctor *doesn't* always know best- do not let him/her pressure you into doing anything you don't want to do, especially if there is a safer alternative.
No matter how young you think you are or how young you act, you will get old and die. Sometimes when you are stressed or angry, it helps to remember a situation where you felt calm or relaxed. Close your eyes and re-experience the peaceful event. Focus hard on remembering specifics. The act of remembering a particular event not only recalls your perceptions, it also recalls your emotions. The body's natural reaction to stress is very unhealthy. This method can help stop stress where it starts. |
