Bodyweight

Specifically in martial arts, leverage means everything. Bodyweight and balance are two of the most central concepts to all martial arts.

I find there are three main things to consider when doing bodyweight exercises that contribute to all forms of strength:

1. fast reps = endurance, muscle tone
2. slow reps = power and size
3. static contractions = speed and tendon strength

I try doing all body weight exercises with all three different variations.
